Tension with North Korea escalates towards war

A specialist on North Korea is warning that the United States is edging closer to a military confrontation with the communist country.
Dr Leonid Petrov says there's a clear escalation of tensions between the countries ... over two developments.
The American navy is tracking a North Korean vessel - the KANG NAM - which it suspects of carrying weapons banned by a new UN resolution, and says it intends to search the vessel before it reaches its destination.
And the U-S is deploying more sophisticated defences to Hawaii, in case North Korea launches a long-range missile into the Pacific.
Dr Petrov is speaking with Caroline Davey.
