Domestic violence: problem of perception and control

We continue our look at domestic violence in Australia.. which has a human cost in terms of the health and mortality of women and children, which has been calculated to equate to more than 8 billion dollars a year to the community.
The violence can be physical or sexual; it can also be emotional violence, such as controlling behaviour.
Some of the men perpetuating such violence seek help from organisations such as the No to Violence - Male Family Violence Prevention Association in Melbourne.
